Seeds for Growth, sponsored by Huntington, will return to an in-person event format after a two-year hiatus to provide programming for the Central Ohio nonprofit community.
Mollard Consulting is proud to partner with Huntington to present Seeds for Growth on Wednesday, May 11 at COSI. We look forward to welcoming hundreds of nonprofit leaders, administrators, and funders for a day of connection and learning.
The event program will feature the following speakers and topics:
- Remarks from Huntington leadership, including an overview of the company’s community plan.
- Mollard Consulting will present on the importance of succession planning and will facilitate a group activity on board governance.
- A panel of community leaders including Chad Jester, Nationwide; Steven Moore, The Columbus Foundation; Alyvia Johnson, AEP; and Elizabeth Martinez, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio will discuss how they are making racial and social equity investments in their organizations.
Founded in 1866, Huntington has deep roots in our community and holds a revered leadership position for its philanthropy and investments. While Huntington is generous with financial support of nonprofit organizations, Seeds for Growth is a testament to how the company serves as a community partner by providing educational content and the opportunity for capacity building.
Huntington released its community plan last year, which is a five-year, $40 billion community investment commitment that focuses on under-resourced communities. The four pillars of the plan include racial and social equity; community development lending and investing; home and consumer lending; and small business support.
We recognize the leadership of Central Ohio Region President Sue Zazon and Regional Director of Community Philanthropy and Engagement Christina Brown for their commitment to bringing this important event back.
We are proud to support Seeds for Growth this year after our initial partnership in 2017. A video of our presentation at Seeds for Growth in 2017 can be found at this link.
Thank you to Sue, Christina, and the Huntington team for your leadership and support of Central Ohio’s nonprofits.
